Sachi Subterranean
Time

Description
Presenting a myriad of musical tastes distilled into a distinctive blend that listeners with open ears are sure to savor. Celebrating the innovative use of sounds, breakout noise-makers will be featured every week in new-release recaps. Rather than specific genres, Sachi Subterranean enjoys songs with hand claps, vocal harmonies, witty lyrics, scratchy acoustic guitars, 90s R&B beats, bird calls, double bass, at least a minute of opening buildup, fuzz, gang shouts, unusual instruments, sexy bass lines, jazz flute, samples of sermons, lo-fi production, and DIY aesthetic. Expect playlists based on these themes, and seasonal moods. Follow the blog, Facebook, or Twitter for updates and more info.
"Because properly conceived and handled noise is not noise at all, but music whose textures just happen to be a little thicker and more involved than usual, so that you may not hear much but obscurity the first time, but various subsequent playings can open up whole sonic vistas you never dreamed were there."
From Psychotic Reactions And Carburetor Dung (1988) by Lester Bangs
